Our client, a leading manufacturer of packaging for critical applications in healthcare, personal care, and food products is seeking an extruder operator. This position will require working M-Th, with occasional Fridays as needed, hours are 6pm-6am. The position itself is located in Schaumburg, IL and our Client offers a comprehensive benefits package along with a competitive wage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Basic operation and understanding of machine controls on extrusion/lamination line.
Plans, sets-up, and initiates a change-over in accordance with the demands of the schedule. 
Troubleshoot and correct basic line issues. 
Unload master rolls and packages safely on frames and/or pallets
Record all production, waste, down time, etc.

Required Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Read a ruler in 1/16th inch increments
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to details
