Our client, a leading manufacturer of packaging for critical applications in healthcare, personal care, and food products is seeking a temp to hire press operator. The work shift is Monday through Thursday with occasional Fridays as needed, from 5pm to 5am. The position itself is located in Schaumburg, IL and our Client offers a comprehensive benefits package along with a competitive wage.

TASKS:

• Setup the operation of flexographic printing press (8 color press).
• Ensures all product quality, safety and production standards are met
• Complete documentation accurately.
• Change and install print cylinders and anilox rolls.
• Change deck parts and ink pumps

BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years as a printing assistant or operator.
• Must have mindset to work safely.
• Must be able to work in a moderate to loud environment (PPE provided).
• Position involves bending, twisting, reaching overhead, kneeling, lifting up to 50lbs
• Must be able to correctly match colors.
