Our client, a full service environmental and engineering consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Vac-truck Operator to assist in the cleaning of train railcars. The majority of your day will be spent outdoors operating the truck’s vacuum. A CDL class B license is required, 90 percent of driving with be within plant facility.

Job Summary:
Must possess CDL Class B license.
All Safety and operational training will be provided on the job.
Will be operating a standard shift transmission.
May require driving in and out of our customer’s location to load and unload of nonhazardous material.
Performs other duties as required such as assisting Technicians.
You will not drive more than 100 miles in a year
Hours: 5am-1pm, including paid time during lunch

Primary duties include:
Emergency response, tank cleaning and railcar tanker cleaning.
Must be willing to work some overtime, some weekends.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must be capable of passing a physical, 90-day, hair follicle drug test, and a criminal background check.
Drives company vehicles in accordance with all State, Local, Federal, DOT, and company regulations, laws, and policies.
Vacuum Truck/Guzzler experience is preferred

Experience:
Driving with manual transmission: 1 year (Required)
DOT-regulated truck driving: 1 year (Required)

Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
