JOB LISTING: Plant/Site Manager, Ink Manufacturing Operation: Bryan, TX

Our client, a well-established business specializing in ink manufacturing, is seeking a Site Manager on 1st shift. The Site Manager will oversee all operations of the Texas facility.  They will plan, direct and coordinate the plant’s administration, production, quality, warehouse, and customer service/office departments.  Hours are Monday- Friday.  Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm.

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee all performance, processes & procedures to ensure quality standards are met
  • Coordinate plant activities with department managers / supervisors to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost- effective manner
  • Directly oversee HSE compliance and ensure proper procedures are being followed
  • Prepare and control site budgets
  • Manage staffing levels of employees for all departments
  • Prepare and present communication meetings to site personnel on an on-going, regular basis

 Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or 5+ years working experience in manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of supply chain management processes to include production, inventory control, materials management, purchasing, production planning and scheduling and logistics
  • Ability to effectively develop, communicate and implement process improvement programs and procedures
  • Strong internal customer service working with sales, production, quality, safety and finance

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of general accounting practices for manufacturing, including profit & loss statements and manufacturing expenses
  • Knowledge and experience of Polymerization Processes and additional manufacturing systems
