Our client, a leading manufacturer of packaging for critical applications in healthcare, personal care, and food products, is seeking a Batch Maker on first shift. The Batch Maker is responsible for ensuring that adhesives are accurately mixed for use in extrusion laminations, solvent laminations and solventless laminations. This position requires high degree of accuracy. Shift is M-TH 6am-6pm and payrate is contingent upon experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Accurately mix adhesives for upcoming jobs using proper formula, accurately weighing, heating, recording, etc.
• Stores adhesives according to ISO procedures
• Maintain adhesives in storage inventory
• Maintain a safe and orderly waste collection area
• Ensure drums are properly labeled (safety and environmental)
Requirements:
• HS Diploma, equivalent or greater
• Able to maintain a manual labor-oriented position
• Experience in a production environment preferred
• Experience with adhesives a bonus
