Our client a major health network, is seeing a Network Engineer, that will be based in Milwaukee, WI.  Project can be extended beyond 12/30/23.

Duties & Responsibilities of the position:

• Implements and maintains enterprise complex wireless networks, local area network and wide area network infrastructures across multiple data centers and all client locations.
• Configures and supports enterprise Cisco and Aruba wireless infrastructure including mapping out wireless access points, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting wireless.
• Troubleshoots EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP routing issues.
• Supports WAN, LAN and MPLS connections at hospitals and remote clinics.
• Manages Infoblox DHCP and DNS systems. Plans and builds networks within Infoblox and DHCP scopes and troubleshoots DNS and DHCP issues.
• Supports and maintains Citrix Netscaler and BigIP F5 environments including, but not limited to load balancing, VPN solutions and GSLB.
• Participates in on call rotation.
• Resolves routine help desk tickets and network problems. Applies problem-solving skills to investigate, research and resolve service calls related to hardware and software problems. Tracks and escalates issues as needed.

Pay rate: $55.49 per hour. 

Hours: 8am-5pm (40 hours per week) – Hours will very and could include evening and may include over 40 hours for right candidate.)

Initially 100% on site until training is accomplished and trust granted.

Then 70/30  Onsite/Remote.

Main Worksite Location:  Milwaukee, WI

This position requires travel.  You will be reimbursed at the government rate.

Hardware will be proved to employees.

Employees are required to have high speed internet.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
• CCNA – Cisco Certified Network Associate
• 5 years of experience in a complex network environment

Preferred skills/experience (Not Required)

• Alcatel, Aruba, Nokia
• CCDP or CCNP – Cisco Certified Design Professional or Certified Cisco Network Professional
