Our client, a well-established business specializing in paint manufacturing, is seeking a Entry Level, QC Paint Lab Tech on 1st shift. The Lab Technician is responsible for performing all Quality Control tests and assisting the Lab Manager in keeping the lab organized, ex: filing, cleaning, and replenishing lab supplies. Hours are Monday- Friday, 7am-3:30pm. After a few months of starting, you have the potential of receiving a raise.

Responsibilities: 

• Perform standard laboratory test to measure viscosity, weight per gallon, pH, gloss, etc.
• Accurately record test results and report problems to Lab Manager.
• Participate in lab meetings
• As directed by Lab Manager, label and store all retains, LX’s, MR’s SR’s, and supplies.
• Keep work area clean and organized

 Essential Skills & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. (Basic math skills required)
• Language – Ability to read, write and speak in English. (Spanish helpful)
• Likes hands-on work that requires attention to details.
• Entry level computer skills required with Word or Excel.
• Likes to become at expert performing routine tasks.
