Contract Shipping clerk.

Our client in Cicero, IL has an immediate need for a Contract Shipping clerk.

Assignment can last a minimum of 6 months and maximum of 12 months or possibly longer.

Hours are from 7am-330pm with possibility of morning (6am) and evening (530pm) overtime.

Keep in mind this position consists of 99% office work and is not a warehouse job.

Looking for an individual who has worked in a high demanding & extremely fast past paced environment

Must have computer skills:

Knowledge & experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, outlook, etc.)

Scanning of documents

Organization of electronic documents

Emailing attachments

Basic web browsing skills

Experience with shipping portals such as UPS worldship, Fed ex, DHL etc

Prior shipping experience in an office setting

Must be able to multitask & work well under pressure

Knowledge of shipping procedures such as:

Creating bill of ladings

Attending and assigning drivers to dock doors

Scheduling shipments

Background check and drug test are required
